1983

Start of business trip

Mr. Ghafoor Majid Khoshnaw started his business career In 1983 and established several large companies including Khoshnaw Commercial Investment Company. From the start the well-known company emerged as a shining star among its peers. He was renowned for his candor and sincerity and independence. These noble characteristics became the foundation of the prestige and success with which the Khoshnaw company is known today.

2006

Khoshnaw Commercial Investment became the sole official distributor of all LG products in Iraq In 2006. These products; It covers televisions, sound systems, home appliances, refrigerators, computer screens and many other state of the art products. This move made Khoshnaw a bridge between global technology and the Iraqi market.

2008

Carrier

Khoshnaw Commercial Investment Company became the only official distributor of Carrier air conditioners in Iraq in year 2008. Carrier is a global leader in cooling heating solutions. This partnership opened the door to bringing the best and latest cooling technology to Iraqi homes and businesses. With this move Khoshnaw has once again proved that it is at the forefront of bringing world famous products to the local market.

2011

Future city

Mr. Ghafoor Majid Khoshnaw is the owner and general manager of Future City Project. The project began in 2011 in Erbil and covers an area of 670,000 square meters. On Massif Road Future City includes state of the art villas and apartments with amenities such as schools, shops, mosques and sports centres. This project is an example of contemporary life in Kurdistan.

2013

Whirlpool

In 2013 Khoshnaw Commercial Investment Company became the sole distributor of Whirlpool electronics and home appliances in Iraq. The move brought Whirlpool's advanced products to homes making Khoshnaw a bridge between new home technology and Iraqi consumers.

2014

Shahan school & kindergarten

Shahan Kindergartens and Schools was established in 2014 in Erbil. This educational institution belongs to the General Manager of Khoshnaw Company. This project is a sign of Khoshnaw's entry into the field of education, which focuses on educating the next generation.

2015

Ronaki Education

In 2015 Ronaki Erbil Educational Company became an important part of Khoshnaw Commercial Investment Company. It is worth mentioning that the educational activities of this company started in This merger is an important step in expanding the work of Khoshnaw Company in the field of education, which relies on the long experience of Ronaki Erbil to provide educational services and high quality in the field.

Tishk International University

Tishk International University (TIU) is a private university established in 2008 in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. In 2016 Khoshnaw became the majority shareholder of the university. The main objective of the University is to become the leading academic institution in the fields of education, research, development and public services.

Nuctech

Khoshnaw has become the exclusive representative of Nuctech, which has expanded its portfolio with advanced security and inspection technology. This partnership has put Khoshnaw at the forefront of bringing the latest inspection and security technology to the region.

Flynass

Khoshnaw became the exclusive representative of Fly Nas In 2017 a Saudi private airline. This partnership has provided easier and cheaper travel opportunities for Iraqi and Kurdistan citizens to Saudi Arabia as well, which is a sign of international confidence in the ability and position of Khoshnaw in the field of tourism and transportation services.

2020

Das Food

In 2020 Khoshnaw Company took a historic step in the food industry in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. By establishing Das Company in Erbil, a large wheat marketing project called Das Silo and Food Factory.

2021

Steel factory

In 2021 Khoshnaw built the largest steel factory in Erbil. The project covers an area of 225,000 square meters. The move will promote industry, provide jobs, and strengthen the local economy.

2025

KitchenAid

In 2025 Khoshnaw Company became the exclusive representative of KitchenAid in all of Iraq.
